Baltimore's own Waverly Records is proud to announce the November 2020 release of In My Dreams by Darien Brahms. Brahms describes the album as twelve oddball old-school pop songs about love and hope and loss and gain inspired by the solitude she has been experiencing under quarantine during the global pandemic. Over the course of two months in the early fall of 2020, Brahms wrote, recorded, produced, engineered, and played all of the instruments on In My Dreams. As she notes, the record was a catharsis prompted by a desire to confront the past and fears of loneliness. Instead of succumbing to the potential sorrows of being alone, Brahms decided that she literally wanted to make something, and some things such as happiness and acceptance, out of her isolation.
